AC Milan will reportedly look to sign Samuel Umtiti in the summer transfer window if he leaves Barcelona as a free agent.

The Serie A champions are in the market for a centre-back heading into the summer transfer window. And the Rossoneri will launch the offensive for the Frenchman if he leaves Barcelona as a free agent.
Samuel Umtiti was once among the best defenders in the World and was a pivotal figure for France when they won the 2018 FIFA World Cup. But the Frenchman embarked on a downward spiral following the triumphant moment four and a half years ago. And he became a peripheral figure for Barcelona in the last few seasons.
The 29-year-old reached rock bottom last summer before Barcelona loaned him out to Lecce. And the World Cup winner has gradually become a regular for the Italian club, making 12 appearances. Umtiti’s progress has not gone unnoticed either, with AC Milan considering signing him in the summer.
