Arsene Wenger has handed Alexis Sanchez some well deserved rest as Arsenal prepare to take on Preston North End in their FA Cup 3rd round encounter. Meanwhile, Olivier Giroud has been chosen to lead the side.
Petr Cech also gets a rest, as David Ospina starts in his stead. Academy graduate Ainsley Maitland-Niles, meanwhile, gets a look in at right-back, with Gabriel making his 50th appearance for the Gunners.
Up ahead in midfield, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lucas Perez make a return to the starting lineup, with youngsters Jeff Reine-Adeilade, Rob Holding and Josh Dasilva all making the bench.
