Arsenal attacker Gabriel Martinelli is open to joining Al-Hilal in the final days of the summer transfer window.
According to an update from Ben Jacobs, Gabriel Martinelli is the subject of interest of Al-Hilal. The Saudi Pro League giants are eager to bolster their offensive unit by signing a versatile attacker in the final days of the ongoing transfer window, and they have their sights set on the 25-year-old Arsenal forward.
Per Ben Jacobs, the South American winger was also a target for Al-Hilal last summer and is now finally ready to move to the Saudi Pro League. The Blue Waves are willing to pay close to £50 million to sign Martinelli, with Arsenal telling the player that they want to part ways with him in the coming days.

Gabriel Martinelli has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Arsenal from Ituano Futebol Clube in July 2019. While the 25-year-old was impressive early on in his stint with the North London club and a breath of fresh air with his burst of pace and creativity, he has struggled for consistency in recent campaigns, particularly in the final third.
Nevertheless, the Brazilian international produced a solid tally in the 2025/26 season, scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists in only 2,384 minutes of game time in 52 outings across all competitions. However, scoring only one goal in the Premier League cost him a spot as a regular, although his stock remains high, with Al-Hilal among the prospective suitors vying for his signature.
Will Martinelli move to the Saudi Pro League?
Al-Hilal’s interest in Gabriel Martinelli is logical. While the big-spending Saudi giants have already reinforced their attack by signing Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United, they want new wingers on both flanks and have thus pursued several wide attackers in the last few weeks.
The Blue Waves have already faced rejection from Iliman Ndiaye, which has forced them to refocus on other targets, with Pedro Neto also emerging as a top option. However, Martinelli is also an option worth considering due to his age profile and versatility (he can play on the left wing and centrally).
Martinelli may have become the top target for Al-Hilal, as the talks to sign Pedro Neto have not progressed due to Chelsea’s asking price of £100 million. With Arsenal ready to cash in on the Brazilian and the player ready to move to the Saudi Pro League, a deal worth £50 million may be on the cards.
