The three Premier League clubs are keen on reinforcing their first-team squads by signing a holding midfielder this summer. However, their enquiries have failed, as the Brazilian international wants to move to Atletico Madrid in the coming months.
Ederson and his rise in Italy
Ederson has established himself as one of the best midfielders in Serie A since joining Atalanta from Salernitana in July 2022. The 26-year-old has made substantial progress in the last four seasons, becoming a mainstay in the middle of the park for La Dea.
