PSG rival Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United in Mateus Mane chase

PSG are ready to rival some of the top English clubs for the signature of Wolves’ breakthrough star Mateus Mane in the summer.

According to a report by TEAMtalk, Mateus Mane could be faced with a tough decision over his next club, with a host of sides showing an interest. PSG are the latest to enter the race ahead of the summer, and they will battle for the teenager’s signature with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Mateus Mane has been the shining light in an otherwise abysmal season for Wolves. The Black Country outfit are favourites to be relegated this term, as they sit 18 points away from safety. Their demotion could spark an exodus of departures, with the teenager clearly at the top of that list.

Mane has already been attracting massive interest, with Wolves reportedly demanding at least £50 million to sell him. Keeping him would be beneficial, but they are aware of the realities, with the teenager likely to want to keep playing in the top division in England or elsewhere.

Liverpool and Manchester United are two of his main suitors, while Chelsea have also registered an interest in the 18-year-old prodigy. A report stated Manchester United were already in talks over Mateus Mane in some capacity, which might also be the case with his other English suitors.

Manchester United could be the front-runners at the moment, but Liverpool and Chelsea are also key challengers for the teenager. However, the interest in Mane is not confined to England, as a host of top European clubs are also vying for the teenager, with PSG the latest to enter the race.

PSG to chase Mateus Mane?

PSG have reportedly watched Mateus Mane in action on multiple occasions since January. They are more than convinced the teenager would suit their project and are expected to push to get a deal in place. The competition with the English giants will prove challenging, but the Parisians have been successful in the past when it comes to luring top young talents.

Mane has a big future ahead of him. Looking at some of the names chasing his signature, he is almost certain to leave Wolves. It is a matter of making the right decision over the youngster’s future, as he will have to evaluate offers to either stay in England or move to one of the big European giants, such as PSG.
