A host of Premier League giants are in contact for the potential signing of PSG star Bradley Barcola ahead of next summer.
According to TEAMtalk, Bradley Barcola is attracting massive interest from some of the top teams in the Premier League. The 23-year-old PSG star is likely to decide on his future next summer as the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool are in contact.
Bradley Barcola remains an integral part of this PSG side and was instrumental in their treble-winning season last time out. There are rumblings in Paris that the 23-year-old PSG star is not completely settled with the way things have evolved in the team and his role.
Since the arrival of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia last January, Barcola has been part of a rotational system that does not guarantee regular game time. Moreover, the 23-year-old PSG star has been overlooked for many important games, which has cast doubts over his future.
While PSG are adamant they are uninterested in selling Bradley Barcola, the magnitude of interest coming from the Premier League could test the player’s thinking. A recent rumour stated Liverpool were prepared to make a huge bid this month, although PSG are unlikely to entertain any bids right now, their stance might be a curious watch next summer.
Alongside Liverpool, there are a host of other teams keen, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City. The latter only signed Antoine Semenyo, who occupies a similar left-wing role to Barcola, so it remains to be seen whether Pep Guardiola adds another left winger to his squad next summer. Either way, those four Premier League giants are in contact for the 23-year-old PSG star, as they could approach in the summer.
Bradley Barcola on the move?
Barcola is also a player on Arsenal and Chelsea’s list, with the former open to the idea of signing a new left-sided attacker next summer. The new arrival could come at the expense of one of Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli departing, as Mikel Arteta remains intent on a marquee attacker to join his strong squad next summer.
Chelsea, on the other hand, have not found a total solution to their left-wing problems despite the arrivals of Jamie Gittens and Alejandro Garnacho in the summer. They could test the waters with a strong bid for Bradley Barcola next summer, although their wage structure might prove to be an issue in the pursuit of the 23-year-old PSG star, as teams such as Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are in a position to pay big if needed.
