Real Madrid are not planning to invite offers for productive duo Rodrygo Goes or Vinicius Junior amid heavy Premier League interest.
According to Team Talk, Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Junior are unlikely to be made available for transfers ahead of the January window. Real Madrid are not willing to part ways with the star duo in the winter window, amid heavy interest from Premier League sides.
Real Madrid have two key decisions on their hand with regards to the futures of productive duo Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Junior. Both Brazilian wingers are subject to speculation over their time at the Santiago Bernabeu, with either of them seeming likely to depart the club in the near future.
The productive Real Madrid duo have unsettled futures at the club for different reasons. Starting with Rodrygo, he has not been an automatic selection to start games under new boss Xabi Alonso since the Club World Cup, and after falling in the pecking order, he was heavily linked with an exit back in the summer.
His situation has not changed until the last few weeks, as Alonso has been picking him consistently over in recent games. Yet, the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal are those keeping tabs on the attacker’s future at the Bernabeu, but Real Madrid have seemingly ruled out an exit for the Brazilian star.
The case with Vinicius looks different at the moment, as he may have refused to sign a new deal amid tensions with manager Alonso. There are also reports stating there are financial issues preventing a contract extension, as he will have large enough suitors whenever he chooses to leave the club. For now, Real Madrid are not planning on inviting offers for Vinicius ahead of the January window.
Will Rodrygo or Vinicius stay at Real Madrid for long?
While Real Madrid are not preparing sales of the productive duo in January, the two wingers could rethink their futures in the summer. The likes of Manchester City and Chelsea are interested in Vinicius, who also has big admiration from the cash-rich Saudi Pro League.
Either of those players have big interest from the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool, as those teams could be an option for the Real Madrid duo if they chose to depart the Bernabeu. The summer window will make the picture clearer on what the Spanish giants think about either of those big players, with a departure certainly within the realms of possibility.
