Marc Guehi wants Real Madrid move amid Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham links

Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi has been linked with a summer move away from the South London club.

Marc Guehi is on the radar of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham. Real Madrid are in the race as well, and a report from Fichajes has claimed that the 24-year-old defender wants to join them. It remains to be seen whether the Spanish outfit comes forward with an offer to sign him.

Real Madrid have recently completed the signing of Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth. It is unlikely that they will move for another central defender. Meanwhile, Guehi will enter the final year of his contract with Crystal Palace this summer, and he could be available for a reasonable amount of money.

The Eagles will not want to lose a player of his quality, but they are under pressure to sell him because of his contract situation. So, amid intense competition for the Englishman’s signature, it will be surprising to see him remaining at Selhurst Park beyond the summer transfer window.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham keen

Meanwhile, the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham could use a quality player like Marc Guehi. Arsenal could use more depth on the side as they look to do well across multiple competitions next season. Signing a reliable performer in the Premier League would be ideal.

Chelsea have looked quite vulnerable at the back, and they need to bring an upgrade on players like Benoit Badiashile. The England international could be the ideal acquisition. He knows the club well, having come through the ranks. It remains to be seen whether the Blues can bring their academy graduate back to the club.

As for Tottenham, they will likely need to replace Cristian Romero in the summer. The 2022 FIFA World Cup winner is a target for Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid. The Crystal Palace star could be the ideal replacement for the South American next season. It remains to be seen whether the Premier League club decide to try their luck with an offer in the coming weeks. They will need to convince the player to join the club before they can agree on a deal with Crystal Palace.
