Kevin De Bruyne likely to head to Saudi Arabia

Kevin De Bruyne could be Saudi Arabia-bound as the Middle Eastern league are ready to present an ‘irresistible offer’ for the Manchester City veteran.

According to Fichajes, Kevin De Bruyne could soon decide on his next destination as the Manchester City veteran is set to leave the Premier League champions. The story claimed that the Saudi Pro League could be the preferred destination for the Belgian veteran as there are additional links to the MLS.

Manchester City and Premier League fans will be sad to see Kevin De Bruyne leave England when his contract expires at the end of the season. The Belgian midfielder has been a force to reckon with at the Etihad since his move from Wolfsburg, as he was instrumental in all of the club’s league title victories as well as the season when they clinched an unprecedented ‘Treble’.

De Bruyne looks likely to leave Manchester City in the summer despite reports from earlier in the season claiming he could be handed a new deal. As of now, it appears the Premier League has become more challenging for the Manchester City veteran, as he may look forwards to a new challenge.

There have been links to MLS and the emerging franchise San Diego FC, as some previous reports suggested De Bruyne held talks over a move. He also made some comments about the Saudi Pro League may have hinted at his disinterest in moving to the Middle East.

Manchester City are already looking at replacement options for De Bruyne, which is another indication of the Belgian veteran considering his options ahead of the summer. The report does point at a potential move to Saudi Arabia, as the claim is that the prospect might now tempt De Bruyne.

Kevin De Bruyne to join the Saudi Pro League?

The Saudi Pro League are reportedly ready to make an ‘irresistible offer’ to lure the Manchester City veteran to the Middle East. De Bruyne is still considered one of the high-profile players in the world, which could see one of the PIF-owned clubs make their move and offer a lucrative deal.

It appears that De Bruyne might sit down for talks with the Saudi Pro League clubs in the coming period, although he may not shut the door on the MLS just yet. Despite the report claiming that the Manchester City veteran might mvoe to Saudi Arabia, things are yet to be decided from the Belgian’s perspective, which could happen in the summer.
