A host of Premier League sides are keen to sign Celtic’s prolific forward Nicolas Kuhn as Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, and Everton are all interested.
According to a report by TBR Football, Nicolas Kuhn continues to attract massive interest from Premier League sides ahead of the summer window. The German forward has had a prolific season so far, with Crystal Palace, Everton, and Newcastle United keen to explore a move for the Celtic attacker.
Celtic did a good job in signing Nicolas Kuhn a year ago, in January 2024, for a fee close to £3 million from Rapid Vienna. Little did they know the German forward would have the impact he has had, with 21 goals and 15 assists from the 55 games he has played so far for the club.
This season alone, Kuhn has 18 goals and 12 assists, with the forward already attracting big interest ahead of the winter transfer window. Celtic managed to keep him, but they might find it difficult to do so in the summer, as Premier League sides are already circling for the forward’s signature.
Newcastle United are among a few clubs looking closely at Kuhn, with the Magpies looking at a new forward ahead of the summer to strengthen their right-wing slot. The German attacker predominantly plays on the right wing, and that might be why the Magpies are interested, as there are other links to players like Bryan Mbeumo.
Crystal Palace were also interested in Nicolas Kuhn before January, as they have been looking for a player to come on the right side of the attack ever since the departure of Michael Olise. Palace may have a big interest in Kuhn should his price tag suit their pockets.
Celtic will demand a hefty fee for Kuhn
Everton are also in the mix for Nicolas Kuhn, with the forward seen as an option to strengthen the Toffees under David Moyes. The club are moving to a new stadium and are keen to bring some quality stars, particularly in the attacking third, with the manager looking to add goals to his setup.
Celtic were expected to demand a hefty fee in January, and that remains the case ahead of the summer. The Scottish champions will look to maximise the value of the forward, who arrived in a deal close to £3 million only a year ago, as all eyes will be on their asking price for the German attacker.
