Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City are reportedly keen on signing 21-year-old Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz.
As per a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City have been in contact with Florian Wirtz regarding a potential move at the end of the season. The Bayer Leverkusen playmaker has established himself as one of the best attacking midfielders in the game, and he could prove to be an exceptional acquisition for all three clubs.
The German international helped the Bundesliga champions win the league title last season, and he has all the attributes to develop into a world-class player. It will be interesting to see if Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester City follow up on their interest with an official offer to sign him.
The youngster is unlikely to be a cheap acquisition, and the German club will demand a premium for him. Florian Wirtz has 27 goal contributions this season, and his numbers are likely to improve when he is playing in a better team alongside top class players. A move to the Premier league could be exciting for him, and it would be the right challenge for him at this stage of his career.
Wirtz could improve all three clubs
Arsenal need more quality in the final third. They have been overly dependent on Martin Odegaard for creativity. Florian Wirtz could be the ideal acquisition, and he is versatile enough to slot into the wide areas as well.

As far as Manchester City are concerned, it is no surprise that they are looking at the German midfielder. They need to find a quality long-term replacement for club legend Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian has been linked with a move away from Manchester City, and they need to replace him adequately. De Bruyne has been a phenomenal performer for the English club and replacing him will not be easy. Signing one of the best young players in the world would be a wise decision.
