Tottenham fail with bid to sign David Otorbi, Aston Villa also keen

Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing 17-year-old Spanish attacking sensation David Otorbi from La Liga club Valencia.

According to an update by Spanish journalist Salva Gomis, David Otorbi is the subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur. However, the North London giants have failed with a bid worth €4 million to sign the Valencia wonderkid. Los Che will demand a fee worth €5 million and a sell-on clause to part ways with the Spanish attacking sensation. In addition, the youngster is a target for Aston Villa.

Who is David Otorbi?

David Otorbi is the latest highly-rated prospect to rise in prominence in his homeland. A native of Valencia, the Spaniard has spent his formative years in his hometown, passing through the academies at Atletico Cabanyal and Malvarrosa before graduating from the youth division at Valencia CF.

The 17-year-old has progressed through the ranks at the Spanish outfit and currently represents the club’s reserve side. However, Otorbi has already made his La Liga debut for Valencia, making three appearances thus far for Los Che.
