Premier League champions Manchester City have reportedly contacted 23-year-old Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a target for Liverpool, Barcelona, and Real Madrid.
According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is the subject of interest from Manchester City. The Premier League champions have contacted the Napoli attacker’s entourage regarding a move next year. Barcelona, Liverpool, and Real Madrid are also keen on signing the Georgian international, with the Serie A giants valuing him at around £83 million.
The rise and rise of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has come leaps and bounds since joining Napoli from Dinamo Tbilisi in July 2022. He hit the ground running at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, helping the Partenopei win the Serie A title in his debut season.
While the 23-year-old struggled last season, he has stepped up this term, chipping in with five goals and three assists in 14 Serie A outings. Meanwhile, Kvaratskhelia’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe, including Manchester City, Liverpool, Barcelona, and Real Madrid.
A man in demand
The Georgian international has been on Manchester City’s radar for a long time. The Premier League champions are keen on reinforcing their offensive department next year amid the inconsistencies of Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku. So, the Napoli forward is a viable target for Manchester City, with the English club contacting his representatives.
