West Ham United set to demand €100 million to sell Mohammed Kudus

Barcelona, Liverpool, and Manchester City will have to fork out a massive €100 million to sign West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus.

According to a report from Fichajes, the impressive rise of Mohammed Kudus at West Ham United has resulted in a lot of interest from across Europe. Giants Barcelona, Liverpool, and Manchester City have all shown interest in signing the Ghanaian international.

Kudus made a name for himself while playing for Ajax. After a three-long spell at the Dutch club, he made the move to West Ham in the summer of 2023 and has only gone from strength to strength since.

In his debut campaign for the Hammers, the attacking midfielder was involved in 45 matches and he contributed towards 20 goals (14 goals, 6 assists). While he prefers playing as the number ten, his ability to feature on the flanks as well as a number nine make him a special talent.

The 24-year-old only has two goal contributions so far this season. But his overall game has been spot on, and there seems to be no shortage of interest in his services. While his contract with the East London club runs until the summer of 2028, European giants could try to prise him away from West Ham in 2025.

European giants want to sign Kudus

Barcelona, Liverpool, and Manchester City are believed to be the ones interested in signing the versatile forward. The Reds are looking for more firepower in the final third, and Kudus could be an ideal signing with Mohamed Salah’s future uncertain.

While Manchester City have quite a few options in attack, Guardiola loves to work with versatile stars and with Kevin De Bruyne already 33, the West Ham star could be a great signing for the long run. Since the Ghanaian international has already provided himself in the Premier League, it is quite understandable that the two giants are after his signature.

West Ham’s massive demand

Manchester City could face competition from the Catalan giants who also seek more quality in attack. Kudus’s ability to feature anywhere in attack make him an ideal fit for the Spanish giants. But, they are not going to find it easy to sign him as West Ham have set a massive €100 million asking price.

The Hammers want to keep hold of their star for as long as possible and they will only let him leave if their demands are met. The massive asking price makes it very difficult for Barcelona and Liverpool. While Manchester City can still afford the signing, their priority at this stage seems to be signing a defensive midfielder.
