Chelsea scouts urge 2025 move for Victor Boniface

Chelsea are reportedly interested in 23-year-old Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface, with their scouts recommending a move.

Victor Boniface has been excellent for Bayer Leverkusen, and he helped them win the Bundesliga title last season. The 23-year-old should prove to be a top-quality acquisition for the Premier League club, and Chelsea scouts are urging the club hierarchy to make a move for him in 2025 as per Give Me Sport.

It is no secret that Chelsea need to bring in attacking reinforcements, and Boniface would be a quality long-term addition. The Blues have scouted the Nigerian international in recent weeks, and their scouts have recommended him to the club.

Nicolas Jackson has not been able to score consistently, and they will have to sort out that problem quickly. Chelsea were overly dependent on Cole Palmer for goals last season, and the England international needs more support in the attack. Boniface could share the goalscoring burden with the Englishman and help them improve going forward.

The 23-year-old showed his quality in the Bundesliga last year, and he has the physical and technical attributes to thrive in the Premier League as well. It remains to be whether the Blues decide to make a move for him in the coming weeks. There is no doubt that Chelsea have the financial muscle to get the deal done.

Boniface will be tempted to join Chelsea

Chelsea are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to join them will be quite attractive for the young attacker. The 23-year-old will look to test himself at the highest level, and a move to the Premier League will be a tremendous opportunity for him.

The Blues have not been able to challenge for major trophies in recent seasons, and they will want to compete at the highest level once again. The West Londoners need to sign top players to get back to the top of English football, and the Nigerian forward would be a superb investment.

It remains to be seen whether they can convince Bayer Leverkusen to accept a reasonable fee for the player in the coming months. The striker is reportedly valued at £70 million. It is fair to assume that any move for Boniface might have to wait until the summer transfer window.

The Bundesliga champions will not want to lose one of their best players midway through the season. Replacing a player of his quality in the middle of the season could prove to be very difficult. So, a summer move might be on the cards.
