Crystal Palace keen on Sheraldo Becker

Crystal Palace are interested in the services of Sheraldo Becker and are willing to table an offer worth €10 million to sign the Real Sociedad striker.

Crystal Palace are looking at options to reinforce their attack when the transfer window reopens in the winter and according to a report from Fichajes, the Eagles are keen on signing Sheraldo Becker who has been in impressive form since joining Real Sociedad.

Becker made the move to the Spanish club at the start of the year. He featured in a total of 18 matches for them in the second half of last season and even contributed towards five goals. The 29-year-old forward became an important part of their first team in no time and his ability to feature anywhere in attack gave Imanol Alguacil quite a few tactical options.

His consistent performances for the Spanish outfit along with his ability to adapt in different roles have received a lot of plaudits and it has resulted in interest from some top clubs across Europe. While Becker is yet to contribute towards a goal this season, he remains an integral part of Sociedad’s first team.

Crystal Palace want to sign Becker in January

While he still has over 18 months left on his deal, there is a significant amount of interest in his services and the Spanish club will soon have a massive decision to make. Crystal Palace seem keen on signing the former Union Berlin forward.

The Eagles have had a disappointing start to the new season with just two points out of their first four games. They do not seem to have enough firepower in their attack and Oliver Glasner wants to bring in a new forward in the winter. They have their eyes on Becker who has made quite an impact at Sociedad.

Palace have monitored him of late and they are willing to submit an offer worth €10 million to prise him away from Spain. Becker’s pace and his strength suggest that he could be an ideal fit for the Premier League and with the Eagles preparing an offer close to €10 million, the Spanish outfit have a massive decision to make. They could look to cash in on the 29-year-old having signed him for less than half of what is being offered by the English outfit.
