Manchester City considering 2025 move for Joshua Kimmich, Jamal Musiala

Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing the Bayern Munich duo of Joshua Kimmich and Jamal Musiala in 2025.

According to a report from Give Me Sport, Joshua Kimmich and Jamal Musiala are on the radar of Manchester City. The Premier League champions are plotting a double move for the Bayern Munich duo for 2025. The two players earn a combined total of £400,000-a-week wages, and Manchester City certainly have the financial muscle to get the deal done.

Meanwhile, they will face competition from Barcelona and Liverpool as well for Musiala. Manchester City need to add more depth in the middle of the park, and they need another quality alternative for Rodri. The Spanish midfielder has been exceptional since joining the club, but they do not have a quality alternative to him. Kimmich would be the ideal acquisition.

The German international played under Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich, and he should be able to settle in quickly and make an instant impact. The Spanish manager rated him highly during their time together in Germany, and it is no surprise that he is plotting a move for Kimmich next summer.

Manchester City keen on Jamal Musiala

Musiala is one of the best young attackers in European football right now, and any club would be keen on securing his signature. Manchester City could use more depth in quality in the final third, and Musiala would be a sensational acquisition. He could be the ideal replacement for Julian Alvarez, who left the club this summer.

Meanwhile, the likes of Barcelona and Liverpool could use a quality attacker, with Musiala a viable target. Both clubs need someone who can anchor the midfield and protect the defensive unit. Kimmich seems like the ideal fit for them in theory, although they are pushing for Musiala, in particular.

Musiala would add goals and creativity to the two clubs as well. It remains to be seen where they end up eventually. Manchester City certainly have more financial resources compared to the other two clubs, and they will be able to provide the players with the platform to challenge for major trophies every season as well.
