Raphinha open to Premier League move amid Arsenal, Chelsea links, Manchester United contacted

Raphinha is reportedly open to joining a Premier League side, and Barcelona might be willing to sell him to fund Nico Williams’s move.

According to HITC, a host of Premier League clubs are on alert following reports of Raphinha’s uncertain future in Barcelona. The potential arrival of Nico Williams could sideline the Brazilian star, as Barcelona could cash in on him when there’s a market, with a number of clubs contacted over his availability.

Raphinha back to the Premier League?

There’s a peculiar transfer saga rumbling in the background as many heavyweight clubs are making a move for Nico Williams. Barcelona are confident about signing him as well as the clear favourites, which has kept Premier League sides like Arsenal and Chelsea on the waiting list. Still, they are alert to the situation if the Catalans fail to make the right move.

Arsenal and Chelsea are prioritising Williams, but the situation is tricky with Barcelona’s presence, who claim to have the financial means to complete the deal. Some reports have suggested that they might have to sell before they can sign the winger, and Raphinha seems like the obvious choice to depart to accommodate the Athletic Club star.

The report insists Premier League sides have been offered the chance to sign Raphinha, who wants to return to England, over other options like Saudi Arabia. Manchester United is one of the clubs told about the £50m-rated Barcelona star’s availability, and at that price, he does seem like an attractive option to many.

Whether the Red Devils are in the hunt remains to be seen, although Aston Villa are keen, as they are looking to sell Moussa Diaby. Newcastle is also keen, but Manchester United might consider it, considering they are in need of an experienced wide attacker, and the £50m-rated Barcelona star might do the trick.

Arsenal and Chelsea are on alert about Raphinha

Arsenal and Chelsea were fighting for Raphinha’s signature before his move to Barcelona. The London duo could revive their interest in the Brazilian winger if he’s available for the right price. The Gunners are keen on a new winger who can play both sides, although Chelsea might be particularly looking for someone on the left side as they have Cole Palmer on the right.

Hence, should Barcelona definitively indicate their willingness to sell Raphinha, these clubs, as well as other Premier League sides, will show interest. For now, his future remains uncertain in Spain, and he would prefer a return to England over a move to Saudi Arabia. However, the latter is what the Catalans might like for the financial gains it brings to their tab
