Everton in constant contact with Chelsea to sign Armando Broja

Everton are in constant dialogue with Chelsea as they look to sign Albanian striker Armando Broja ahead of next season.

According to Ben Jacobs, Everton are keen on reinforcing their attack in the upcoming transfer window following a disappointing Premier League campaign last time out, and they have their eyes set on Armando Broja. They are keen on signing the Chelsea striker and have been in constant contact with the West London club.

Broja has come up the ranks at Chelsea, and he has been a part of their first team since the summer of 2022. Things have not really worked out for him at his childhood club, and he could be on his way out ahead of next season.

Broja’s time at Chelsea could end soon

The Blues handed him quite a few opportunities in the first half of the 2023/24 season, but he failed to fire. On the back of a poor first half, they sent him out on a short loan to Fulham. The move to the Cottagers did him no good as he only got limited opportunities.

Broja is all set to return to his parent club, but he is unlikely to have a future at Chelsea. They are eager to sign a world-class striker in the summer and have been linked with quite a few top stars.

With the arrival of a new number nine almost certain, they could look to sanction the departure of the Albanian international. Since he is a homegrown player, money raised from his sale could help them balance their books.

Everton keen on signing Broja

Everton are one of the clubs keen on reinforcing their attack ahead of next season. While they do have Dominic Calvert-Lewin to lead their line, the English striker has struggled in the recent past, and they need someone who can cover for him.

The Merseyside outfit feel Broja has the potential to be a special player, and he can turn things around. As a result, they are willing to invest in him and are pushing hard to bring him to Goodison Park. The Toffees have been in talks with Chelsea on a daily basis for the services of the 22-year-old.

The two parties are busy discussing a deal that could be worth £30 million. Everton are quite confident about Broja and are doing their best to strike a deal with Chelsea as soon as possible.
