Tottenham Hotspur prepare offer for Callum Hudson-Odoi

Tottenham are reportedly ready to make an offer for Callum Hudson-Odoi before June 30, as Nottingham Forest may need to sell.

According to Football Insider, Tottenham are ready to make an offer for Callum Hudson-Odoi and take advantage of Nottingham Forest’s financial situation. Spurs are interested in the 23-year-old Premier League attacker, who has shoen since moving to the City Ground last summer.

Tottenham to make Callum Hudson-Odoi offer?

Tottenham are serious about strengthening its frontline with players across three or four positions. For starters, they have already renewed Timo Werner’s loan for another season and is intent on bringing in a new striker and an attacking midfielder in the summer.

Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy remains a target, as they are either eying an additional striker or looking to replace someone like Richarlison. Surprisingly, they are behind another left-winger despite Werner’s loan renewal, as Spurs hold an interest in Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The former Chelsea academy graduate has been a shining light for Nottingham Forest since making his £5 million move last summer. His eight goals during the campaign proved immense as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side beat the drop and survived the Premier League relegation ordeal.

Tottenham are now looking to make an offer for the 23-year-old Premier League attacker, as they are aware of Nottingham Forest’s financial situation. The report suggests that Spurs could submit their proposal before June 30, as they stand a huge chance of even signing Hudson-Odoi below his current £30 million valuation.

Nottingham Forest ready to sell

Forest may not want to lose a player like Hudson-Odoi in an ideal world, but their situation might force a sale or two of some of their highly rated assets. The club reports that they want £30 million, which is also the amount they need to raise in profits through sales to beat sanctions for breaching PSR regulations.

Now, Spurs have a unique opportunity to use Forest’s advantage, as they could potentially sign Hudson-Odoi for slightly less than his current asking price. The idea is to make the transfer before the June 30 deadline set by the Premier League for all clubs, including Forest, to comply with their PSR Obligations.
