Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.

According to football insider, Tottenham are hoping to sign the highly-rated winger by June 30 and they might have to sell out £30 million in order to sign him.

The 23-year-old has had an impressive campaign with Nottingham Forest and he has eight goals in all competitions. Tottenham could certainly use a quality attacker like him, who will chip in with goals and creativity. The 23-year-old should prove to be a quality long-term investment.

Tottenham need to add more depth and quality to their attack. Signing a versatile attacker who is capable of operating on both flanks could prove to be a wise decision. Meanwhile, the former Chelsea winger will be attracted to the idea of joining Spurs as well. It would be a major step up, in his career and he would get to play for a top club capable of pushing for trophies.

Spurs have shown improvement under their new manager and they will look to bring in top quality players this summer as well. They will have to improve their squad if they want to compete with clubs like Manchester City and Arsenal.

Hudson-Odoi will cost £30 million

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest will hope to keep the 23-year-old winger at the club for a while. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham are ready to shell out £30 million.

The English winger is still quite young and he is likely to improve with coaching and experience. A move to Tottenham would allow him to express himself better and he is likely to improve further. Spurs have a free-flowing attacking style of football and the Hudson-Odoi would enjoy his role in the team.
