Benjamin Sesko prefers Arsenal move amid Chelsea, Manchester United links

Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, and the player prefers to join them over other English clubs.

According to Daily Mirror, Chelsea and Manchester United are keen on Benjamin Sesko. However, the Slovenian international wants to join Arsenal in the summer transfer window. The fact that the RB Leipzig striker prefers them will come as a major boost for the North Londoners.

The 21-year-old striker is valued at £45 million, and he could prove to be a quality acquisition for Arsenal if they can get the deal done. it is no secret that Arsenal will have to improve their attacking options during the summer transfer window, with Sesko emerging as a target.

Gabriel Jesus managed to score just four goals in the league this past season, and Arsenal need a prolific goalscorer leading the line for them. Although Sesko is not quite at that level yet, he scored 18 goals this term and is likely to improve with coaching and experience.

The Slovenian international is a tremendous talent with a big future, and Mikel Arteta could help him fulfil his potential. The Spanish manager has done well to nurture Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli at Arsenal. He could play a key role in the development of the 21-year-old striker as well.

Chelsea, Manchester United keen on Benjamin Sesko

Chelsea and Manchester United are keen on the player as well. Chelsea have struggled to score goals consistently, and they need a reliable finisher leading the line for them. Nicolas Jackson has been quite underwhelming this season. Sesko could prove to be an upgrade on the former Villarreal striker.

At Manchester United, he could partner Rasmus Hojlund in the attack, and support the Denmark international in the attack. Manchester United need more goals in their side, and signing the RB Leipzig striker from the Bundesliga club could prove to be a wise decision.

All three clubs will be able to afford his £45 million asking price. But Arsenal are clearly in pole position to sign him. Regular football in England will help the striker improve further and fulfil his tremendous potential. Arsenal have a proven track record of grooming young players, and a move to the North London club would be ideal for the Slovenian.
