Brest will demand at least £25 million from suitors for left-back Bradley Locko, with a host of Premier League sides keen.
According to Give Me Sport, Chelsea target Bradley Locko could leave Brest for around £25 million, with the Ligue 1 outfit open to a sale in the summer transfer window. West Ham United and Newcastle United are also keen on the 22-year-old French full-back, who was impressive in the season gone by.
Brest to sell Bradley Locko for £25 million?
Brest had a tremendous season in Ligue 1, finishing in third place and qualifying for the UEFA Champions League. They had many notable performers during the campaign, including 22-year-old French full-back Bradley Locko.
Locko made 33 appearances in Ligue 1 for Brest, and his performances have put him on the radars of some of the big Premier League clubs. The French outfit are aware of the growing interest in the left-back and are willing to sell for a fee of at least £25 million.
Brest signed Locko for a fee of well under £500,000 from Stade Reims last summer and are undoubtedly eyeing a massive profit off his sale. Chelsea are one of the clubs keen, while a host of other Premier League sides have watched him in action during different stages of the season.
Chelsea are a peculiar contender for the 22-year-old’s signature, having signed a few players from Ligue 1 lately. They also have external interest in their multi-club model, as Strasbourg share the same owners as the Blues and could see the player as an addition to that club as well. However, the Stamford Bridge outfit are likely to target Locko for their first team, as there are uncertainties with the left-back position.
West Ham United, Newcastle United also keen on Locko
Chelsea are not the only ones keeping close tabs on Locko’s situation; Newcastle United and West Ham United are also interested. The price point would certainly attract the duo to the French full-back, although the Blues might pose a big problem in the race.
Other teams, like Manchester United, are keen on Locko, as the full-back seems destined to make the big move to England in the upcoming summer window.
