Aston Villa join Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Morgan Gibbs-White

Aston Villa are ready to rival Newcastle United and Tottenham in the pursuit of Morgan Gibbs-White, with the player destined for the top.

According to HITC, Aston Villa are ready to make a move for Morgan Gibbs-White ahead of the summer. Unai Emery’s side will face plenty of competition for the 24-year-old Premier League attacker, with Newcastle United and Tottenham firmly cementing their place in the race.

Aston Villa keen on Morgan Gibbs-White?

Unai Emery will urge Aston Villa to bring in some solid reinforcements in the summer as he prepares for a big season ahead in the Champions League. The Villans managed to manage a campaign in the Premier League and the Conference League, but there were signs they would need a squad with more quality to compete in the next campaign.

One of the players Emery reportedly likes is Morgan Gibbs-White. The Nottingham Forest star is set to aim for a bigger club and probably even Champions League football. Among his other suitors, only Aston Villa can provide him with the latter unless previously reported teams like Arsenal come in with an approach.

As of now, should Aston Villa emerge in the race for Gibbs-White, they might have a considerable pull compared to Newcastle United or Tottenham. Nottingham Forest are reportedly demanding over £50 million to sell the 24-year-old Premier League attacker, which seems fair in the current market valuation.

Newcastle United, Tottenham keen on Gibbs-White

Tottenham have been interested in Gibbs-White for some time now and may have already sounded out a move for the 24-year-old Premier League attacker. He will be an excellent addition to Ange Postecoglou’s side, who still need to become a player of his profile this season.

Newcastle United are also keen to add Gibbs-White to their squad, as Eddie Howe looks for key reinforcements ahead of the summer window. The two sides were penciled in to compete for the Forest midfielder, but things could get tricky with the entry of Aston Villa in the chase.

In any case, the race for Gibbs-White could be a big one as the summer window opens, with Tottenham considered the front runners as things stand. Newcastle United also have a powerful pull, but Villa could spring a surprise with the availability of Champions League football at Villa Park next season.
