Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.

Ramsdale is undoubtedly one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, and he could prove to be a quality long-term acquisition for the Magpies. Ideally, Arsenal will not want to lose a player of his quality, but they are powerless to stop him from leaving. They will not be able to provide him with regular first-team action and therefore, the 25-year-old is likely to move on in the near future.
He cannot afford to sit on the bench at this stage of his career. Ramsdale has proven himself to be a reliable performer in the top flight, and there will be no shortage of clubs looking to sign him.

A move to Newcastle would be ideal for all parties. He would get to play regularly, and Newcastle will have more quality and depth in the goalkeeping department as well. Although the Magpies have Nick Pope at their disposal, they need to bring in quality alternatives.
