Newcastle United are interested in acquiring the services of Juventus duo of Matias Soule and Dean Huijsen ahead of next season.
According to Tuttosport via SportWitness, Newcastle United are plotting a double raid on Juventus for the services of Matias Soule and Dean Huijsen. Both the youngsters have been impressive during their ongoing loan spells and the Magpies are looking to acquire their services.
Juventus will look to cash in on Soule and Huijsen
Soule who has come up the ranks at Juventus is currently on loan at Frosinone. The Argentine winger has featured in 33 league games this term and has contributed towards 14 goals (11 goals, 3 assists). He has been in sensational form throughout and there is no shortage of interest in him.
Meanwhile, Huijsen, who was promoted to the Juventus first team in November last year, joined AS Roma on a short loan in January. The teenage defensive star has featured in 14 matches for Roma. He has put in some exceptional performances in the heart of the defence and also has three goal contributions.
The duo will return to their parent club in the summer but are unlikely to have a future there. According to the report, the Old Lady have clear plans to cash in on the duo. They are looking to raise more than €100 million by player sales in the summer and expect to make around €60-70 million by offloading the duo.
Newcastle want to sign Soule and Huijsen
Newcastle are the ones keen on having both Soule and Huijsen in their squad. They have been following the 21-year-old winger for some time and feel he could be an ideal addition for the short as well as the long run.
Eddie Howe’s team have also been linked with the 19-year-old Spanish centre-back. But, they will have to battle it out with other interested parties to secure the defensive sensation.
The Magpies are expected to make quite a few moves in the summer. While they will be focused on improving their squad in the short term, they are also looking to add players who can help them in the long run. The duo is seen as a good investment for their future, and that is why they could end up knocking on Juventus’ door in the summer.
The Argentine youth international will cost around €35 million while the Spanish defensive sensation will cost around €30 million. As a result, the report states that the Magpies will have to invest €60-70 million to secure the services of the duo.
