Xavi Simons has seen his stock skyrocket in the last two seasons. The 21-year-old was going nowhere during his first stint with Paris Saint-Germain, with first-team action coming at a premium. So, he did not serve the purpose of leaving Barcelona to join PSG in 2019. However, his short stint with PSV Eindhoven turned things around for him.
Simons was one of the most productive attackers in the world last season, compelling PSG to re-sign him last summer.
