Arsenal inform Gabriel Jesus that they will sell him this summer

Arsenal have informed Gabriel Jesus that they are ready to accept offers for his services in the summer.

According to a report from TBR, Arsenal are ready to part ways with Gabriel Jesus ahead of next season. The Gunners have informed their Brazilian striker that they are ready to accept offers for his services amidst interest from elsewhere.

Gabriel Jesus’ time at Arsenal

The Brazilian international made the move from Manchester City to Arsenal in the summer of 2022. Mikel Arteta was keen on having Gabriel Jesus in his ranks and the Gunners forked out £45 million to acquire his services.

It was a statement of intent by the North London club and it did help them raise their standards. While he has played an important role in their impressive rise over the past two seasons, the Brazilian forward hasn’t scored enough goals.

In the ongoing season, he has featured in 25 Premier League games but has only scored four goals. While his overall game has been decent and he has been a consistent performer, the lack of goals has become a problem for Arteta.

Arsenal ready to sell Gabriel Jesus

The Spanish manager is now looking to sign a new world-class striker in the summer. He is looking to sign someone who can guarantee goals and help him take the next step.

With the Gunners looking for a new striker and Kai Havertz putting in impressive performances as a number nine in recent weeks, Gabriel Jesus might be surplus to requirements.

As a result, they are ready to negotiate his departure and have informed the player that they will listen to offers for his services. While they insist that they are not actively looking to sell him, they will not stand in his way if they receive a decent offer for his signature.

The 27-year-old has been subject to a lot of interest from the Middle East. Clubs from the Saudi Pro League want to acquire the Brazilian striker and they are willing to spend a significant fee to make it happen. But, it will be interesting to see if Gabriel Jesus is ready to quit Europe this early in his career.
