Vitor Roque offered to Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham

Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham are among the clubs reported to have offered the chance to sign 19-year-old Vitor Roque.

According to TBR, Vitor Roque has been reportedly offered to Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham ahead of the summer. The 19-year-old Barcelona prodigy’s time in Catalonia might come to a premature end following a difference of opinion between his agent and Xavi Hernandez.

Vitor Roque offered for Premier League clubs?

Xavi Hernandez has reportedly decided to make a U-tun about his decision to leave Barcelona and might continue to be their manager instead. The news might have mixed reactions, but it was not favourable for Vitor Roque and his agent.

The 19-year-old Barcelona prodigy’s representative, Andre Cury, recently warned the club that the player might leave permanently in the summer should his situation not change. Xavi has not used the teenager in games, benching him for the last three, and overall, his usage has been sporadic at best, with only two starts to show for it,

Many media outlets have picked up Cury’s comments, and now the suggestions are that Roque has been offered to Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham ahead of the summer. Both sides are looking for young talents, and the 19-year-old Barcelona prodigy will undoubtedly become a player of closer interest should Barcelona make him available.

Roque does not want to leave on loan, and his agent resented that message in those comments. Hence, Barcelona might have a big decision on his hands and maybe agree on a deal with one of the rivals that were keen on landing the teenager ahead of January when the Catalans fought hard to secure his signature.

Will Barcelona sell Vitor Roque?

Having spent €30 million plus agreeing to pay a further €31 million in add-ons, Barcelona has invested heavily in the teenager despite their financial struggles. They also fought hard to ward off challenges from some Premier League sides to sign the Brazilian from Athletico Paranaense.

Should they receive a big offer that will see their initial investment bear fruit, Barcelona may not hesitate to make the deal. Moreover, they could sell if Xavi does not change his stance over the 19-year-old and does not give him guarantees of a regular place in his setup next season.
