According to reputed Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Jorthy Mokio is the subject of interest from Barcelona. The 16-year-old recently attended the UEFA Champions League game between the Blaugrana and Paris Saint-Germain. The 16-year-old wants to leave KAA Gent in the summer transfer window.
Who is Jorthy Mokio?
Jorthy Mokio is part of the latest generation of Belgian prospects as the country looks to create another potentially world-beating long-term squad. A native of Gent, he has spent his formative years in his homeland, beginning his youth career at KFC Merelbeke before joining KAA Gent in 2021.
The 16-year-old has already broken into the first-team squad at KAA Gent, making his senior bow last month. The teenage defensive sensation has turned out thrice thus far for the Belgian club, managing 60 minutes of game time.
