Liverpool considering Mohammed Kudus swoop

Liverpool are now considering Mohammed Kudus as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah in the summer.

According to Fichajes, Liverpool could make enquiries for Mohammed Kudus in the coming period, as they view the Ghanaian international as a replacement for Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian could depart for a Saudi Arabia adventure, with the Reds reportedly looking at the West Ham man as a possible successor.

Liverpool are interested in Mohammed Kudus

Since the turn of the year, all the media talk surrounding Liverpool has been related to finding a suitable replacement for Jurgen Klopp. With Ruben Amorim looking like their preferred candidate to take over from the German, the conversation could soon shift towards Mohamed Salah’s future.

Saudi Pro League sides are willing to pay big to sign the Egyptian. Al Ittihad made a mammoth offer at the end of last summer, and Salah may depart after the current season. Liverpool have seen links to numerous players to replace their talismanic winger, with Mohammed Kudus’s name now added to the equation.

West Ham signed the Ghanaian attacker for £38 million last summer and are delighted with his performances after posting 22 goal contributions this season in all competitions. They are aware of the growing interest in a few of their big stars like Kudus and Lucas Paqueta, meaning the Hammers are likely to demand a significant price for the duo.

With Salah likely to leave Liverpool for a potential nine-figure fee, West Ham will want a massive bid coming in from the Reds should they desire to sign the £38 million attacker. Kudus’s ability to play versatile positions makes him a big name in the market. However, for the Hammers, he has predominantly played on the right wing, a position mastered by Salah at Liverpool.

Further interest in Kudu  s

Liverpool are late in joining the race for Kudus but could still sweep away the competition for the attacker. Chelsea and Arsenal are keen, but the Blues need to be in a more prominent position to spend massive sums in signing the Ghanaian attacker in the summer.Arsenal can certainly look at his potential and think about adding him, meaning they are likely to compete with the Reds for the West Ham star.
