North London giants Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made an offer to Tosin Adarabioyo, a target for Manchester United.

According to a report by TEAMtalk, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are vying for the signature of Tosin Adarabioyo. The 26-year-old will become a free agent in the summer transfer window as he does not want to sign a new contract with Fulham. And London might be his next destination, with Tottenham offering him a contract.

Tosin Adarabioyo at Fulham: What’s happened so far?

Tosin Adarabioyo has found a stable footing in his career since joining Fulham from Manchester City in October 2020, with the Manchester native ending his 18-year association with the Premier League heavyweights. The West London club agreed to a three-year contract with the player, with the deal containing an optional year.

The 26-year-old has gone from strength to strength in the last four years, with his stock rising considerably. He has made his mark in the Premier League and the EFL Championship. However, Adarabioyo’s stint with Fulham will end in a few weeks after entering the final three months of his contract at Craven Cottage.

Adarabioyo’s situation has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs. A move to a bigger Premier League club is on the cards for the former Manchester City defender, with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur vying for his signature.

Big move on the horizon?

Manchester United’s interest in Tosin Adarabioyo is understandable. The Red Devils will likely part ways with Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans in the summer transfer window. So, they need a replacement at Old Trafford, with the 26-year-old emerging as a viable target. But Manchester United are falling behind Tottenham in the chase.

Tottenham recently approached Adarabioyo to discuss a possible summer move. They have now stepped up their efforts to sign the Englishman, offering him a contract to steal a march on Manchester United. So, Tottenham might have leapt to the pole position in the race to sign the soon-to-be-free Fulham defender.

Other high-profile clubs might also be in the race to secure Tosin Adarabioyo’s services, with Newcastle United recently joining the chase. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can beat the competition to his signature in the coming weeks.
