According to The Sun, Tottenham could battle Arsenal for the signature of Alexander Isak in the summer. The Swedish striker hinted at being open to a new challenge, but Eddie Howe thinks the striker, valued at £100 million, is something other than a player the club wants to sell in the summer window.

Tottenham are on the lookout for a new striker to give Ange Postecoglou a different option up front. Plenty of talented players are in midfield and the attacking zones. But beyond Son Heung-min, Spurs do not have a No.9 that can score consistently, with Richarlison struggling in that aspect.
Spurs have set their sights on Ivan Toney as an option, and now they have added £100 million-rated Newcastle United star Alexander Isak to that shortlist. The Swedish striker has 14 Premier League goals this season and has been one of the Magpies’ outstanding performers in a difficult season.

Newcastle United are uninterested in a sale
Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has already insisted the club cannot sell a player of Isak’s stature and will hope to keep the striker for the long haul.
