Already labelled as a future superstar, Evan Ferguson might want to finish the season in strong form following a period of mediocrity. The striker has not managed to do his best this season for Brighton & Hove Albion, which coincides with the Premier League club probably having a dismal end to the campaign.
Yet, Brighton are not deterred by their valuation of some players, including Ferguson, with the Seagulls likely to demand between £80-100 million for the Irish forward. A host of clubs are interested, including Arsenal, who consider him a top option for the future, while Manchester City are also linked with a move.
Manchester United are now interested in the forward as they view the 19-year-old prodigy as someone who could support and complement Rasmus Hojlund. Whether the Red Devils consider this a priority signing in that position remains the question, assuming they have needs in other areas.
Moreover, be it Ferguson or any other striker, those players are going to cost a considerable sum.
