Chelsea are all set to battle it out with PSG for the services of 21-year-old Stade Brestois full-back Bradley Locko.

According to a report by TEAMtalk, Chelsea are keen on bolstering their defence ahead of next season, and the left-back position is one of the key areas that they want to reinforce. Stade Brestois’ Bradley Locko is one of their targets, but they will have to battle it out with PSG for his signatures.

Locko’s rise at Stade Brestois

Bradley Locko was a part of Stade Reims before joining Brestois in the winter of 2023. He initially joined them on a short loan which was made permanent ahead of the ongoing season. Since making a permanent switch, he has featured in 28 matches and has racked up over 2,500 minutes. The left-sided full-back has even contributed towards two goals.

The French youth international has put in a lot of impressive performances since the start of the season, and it has not gone unnoticed. The 21-year-old is regarded as a huge prospect for the future, and multiple clubs are ready to have him in their ranks.

PSG and Chelsea are keen on Bradley Locko

Chelsea and PSG are two top clubs willing to go head-to-head for his signatures. The French giants have kept a close eye on the left-back in Ligue 1, and they are quite impressed with what they have seen. While Les Parisiens do have multiple options at left-back, they want to further bolster that side of their defence by signing Locko.

PSG are always on the lookout for young players who can help them in the long run, and they feel the 21-year-old is an ideal fit. But, they will face competition from Chelsea, who are big admirers of the French youth international.

The Blues see him as someone who has the potential to be one of the best left-backs in the world and feel he is an ideal fit for them. The West London club have invested in almost every area of the pitch. They have added young stars who can help them in the long run but are yet to sign a young left-back.

Chelsea want to bolster that position in the summer, and Locko is one of their targets. They are looking at him as someone who can initially come off the bench and grow into a regular starter in the future. While Locko is expected to leave Brest in the summer, he prefers staying in France. As a result, the Blues need to do a lot to ensure he joins them ahead of PSG.
