Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle United are reportedly keen on 18-year-old Dutch defender Dean Huijsen.

A report from AS Roma Live has claimed that Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle United are prepared to provide 18-year-old Dutch defender Dean Huijsen with an exit route from Serie A club Juventus.

The young defender is currently on loan at AS Roma. It will be interesting to see if Juventus are prepared to sell him at the end of the season. Huijsen is highly rated across Europe, and he could develop into an important first-team player for all three clubs with coaching and experience.

He could prove to be a long-term asset and he has the ability to do well in English football as well. Arsenal are competing for the Premier League title, and they will be hoping to win the UEFA Champions League as well. They need a deeper squad to compete at a high level in multiple competitions.

The 18-year-old defender will add depth and defensive cover to the side. With the right guidance, he could develop into a key player for them in the coming seasons. But Arsenal are also interested in other centre-backs, including Murillo.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United have been quite vulnerable defensively, and they will have to improve at the back to the UEFA Champions League and compete for major trophies. The Magpies have the financial resources to sign the talented young defender, and it remains to be seen whether they decide to submit an official proposal in the summer.

Dean Huijsen needs regular game time

The 18-year-old needs regular game time at a high level in order to continue his development, and Newcastle will be able to provide him with that opportunity. Manchester United might need to replace players like Jonny Evans in the summer. So, the Juventus defender has emerged as a viable target.

If the three English clubs can sign him for a reasonable price, it could prove to be a superb investment for them in the long run. The 18-year-old is unlikely to start regularly for Juventus next season. So, he could be open to a potential move.

If Arsenal, Manchester United or Newcastle can provide him with game-time assurances, the player will certainly fancy a move away from Italy in the summer. The 18-year-old defender is highly rated across Europe, and Juventus could demand a premium for him. It will be interesting to see where he ends up in the summer.
