Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United have reportedly submitted enquiries for 23-year-old Real Madrid mainstay Rodrygo Goes.

According to a report by Spanish outlet SPORT, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are interested in signing Rodrygo Goes in the summer transfer window. The three Premier League clubs are tracking the 23-year-old Real Madrid attacker’s situation and have approached Los Blancos to ask about his situation.

The Rise and Rise of Rodrygo Goes

Rodrygo Goes has been among the best young players in the world since joining Real Madrid from Santos in July 2019. The Brazilian international is close to completing half a decade with Los Blancos and has endured a topsy-turvy ride at the Santiago Bernabeu. But he has become a pivotal figure for Real Madrid since the start of the 2022/23 season.

The 23-year-old has stepped up his performances this season, raising the bar whenever a regular has been unavailable. He has amassed 13 goals and eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions. But Rodrygo’s Real Madrid future is uncertain amid the club’s relentless links with Kylian Mbappe. Such a situation has piqued the interest of high-profile Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool.

Premier League Trio Ask About the Brazilian

Arsenal will delve into the market for a versatile attacker in the summer transfer window. The Gunners ideally need a prolific striker amid the profligacy of Gabriel Jesus. But the Real Madrid forward can be a top-class addition to the Arsenal squad due to his ability to play across the frontline.

As for Liverpool, the Reds are in a spot of bother over the long-term future of Mohamed Salah. While the Egyptian international has insisted he is committed to Liverpool, the Merseyside giants should keep their options open. Rodrygo has thus emerged as a viable target.

Meanwhile, Manchester United need a long-term solution to the long-running right-wing woes. Jadon Sancho and Antony should have solved the problem after their big money moves. But neither has made his mark, leaving Manchester United in a spot of bother. The Red Devils and their Premier League rivals have now submitted an enquiry to Real Madrid for Rodrygo’s services.

Real Madrid will unlikely entertain offers for the 23-year-old Brazilian international, even though Mbappe’s arrival should affect his game time. But it will be interesting to see if Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United can turn Rodrygo’s head.
