The Portuguese super-agent has secured the approval of Atletico Madrid, with some issues remaining before the two clubs seal an agreement.

Joao Felix has been an enigmatic player during his career at the club level thus far. The 24-year-old was a highly-rated prospect, with most top clubs in Europe vying for his signature while he was at Benfica. Atletico Madrid eventually won the race to secure his services, shelling out over €100 million to land him.
But the Portuguese international was not a happy camper at Atletico Madrid. While he enjoyed a few solid campaigns, he had some run-ins with Diego Simeone. That sealed his fate last summer before Barcelona came calling to seal a season-long loan deal on Deadline Day of the summer transfer window.
