Gleison Bremer, who will cost €70 million this summer, wants to move to the Premier League amid emerging links with Manchester United.

According to a report by Italian outlet Calciomercato, Gleison Bremer is the subject of interest from Manchester United. The Brazilian international wants to move to the Premier League when he leaves Juventus. Meanwhile, the Serie A giants will demand €70 million to part ways with him.

The Rise and Rise of Gleison Bremer

Gleison Bremer has established himself as one of the best defenders in Serie A in the last half a dozen years. The 26-year-old spent his formative years in his homeland before graduating from the Atletico Mineiro youth division. But he has not looked back since arriving in Europe, joining Torino in July 2018.

The Brazilian international spent four years at Torino before moving across Turin to join Juventus in July 2022. He has been a mainstay at the back for the Bianconeri, coming leaps and bounds at the Allianz Arena. The player has turned out 68 times thus far for Juventus, chipping in with seven goals and one assist.

Bremer’s progress at Juventus has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe. Premier League bigwigs, in particular, are keen, with Manchester United among his prospective suitors. Meanwhile, Juventus will demand around €70 million to part ways with him.

Manchester United Keen

Manchester United’s interest in Bremer is understandable. Raphael Varane faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford after entering the final six months of his contract. In addition, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof might leave Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

So, it behoves Manchester United to invest in a centre-back, with several candidates emerging on their radar. Bremer’s name also features on their wishlist, with the Brazilian international now handing a boost to them. The report claims that the 26-year-old wants to move to the Premier League when he leaves Juventus.

Manchester United should have the financial capacity to shell out €70 million to sign Bremer in the summer transfer window. But it will be interesting to see if they can tempt Juventus to sell the Brazilian international.
