A host of top clubs have been put on high alert as Adrien Rabiot could leave Juventus on a free transfer when the season ends.

According to Fichajes, Manchester United, Barcelona, and Newcastle United are monitoring Adrien Rabiot’s situation at Juventus. When his contract ends, the 28-year-old French international could leave Turin on a Bosman move in the summer.

Adrien Rabiot remains one of the admired midfielders in Europe, with several clubs constantly trying to lure the 28-year-old French international away from Juventus. The Bianconeri re-signed the midfielder to a one-year deal last summer, but they could lose him in the close season on a free transfer.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag wanted him in January, as he might have hoped to lure him on a cut-price deal. However, the Red Devils will try again in the summer, when they could change their midfield, especially if Casemiro leaves the club.

With Rabiot’s situation an attractive proposition for Barcelona, they also monitor the 28-year-old French international. The Catalans are facing financial troubles, which could see them spend less in the summer, as a free transfer for the Juventus man would suit their ideas well.

Similarly, Newcastle Untied are not in an excellent financial state, only that their problems are more with the FFP than actual financing. They might lose Joelinton as there are contract renewal problems with the Brazilian. Hence, the Magpies might consider Rabiot as someone with the right experience and style to replace him next summer.

Juventus came close to selling Rabiot or instead giving him away on the cheap two seasons ago when the midfielder was close to joining Manchester United. Soon enough, the 28-year-old French international re-established himself under Massimiliano Allegri and has never looked back since.

Allegri considers him very important to his plans, as Juventus were in confident of extend his stay. His current deal ends in the summer, and now the report suggests the midfielder could leave the Serie A giants for a new challenge, particularly in the Premier League.

Barcelona could also make an enormous appeal to the Frenchman in the summer. However, the financial aspects of the Premier League may play a significant role in determining Rabiot’s next club.
