Premier League heavyweights Arsenal have reportedly scouted Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, valued at £40 million, multiple times.

According to Fabrizio Romano on Give Me Sport, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is the subject of interest from Arsenal. The Gunners are in the market for a midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window. And they have scouted the English midfielder, valued at £40 million by Leicester City, multiple times this season.

Who is Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall?

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is a native of Shepshed and began his youth career at his hometown club. But he started making progress after joining Leicester City as an eight-year-old in 2006. Since then, the 25-year-old has come leaps and bounds, establishing himself as one of the best young midfielders in his country.

The Englishman made his first-team debut for Leicester City in January 2020. But he had to wait until the 2021/22 season for his breakthrough in the senior squad at the King Power Stadium. Meanwhile, Dewsbury-Hall was among the rare bright spots as Leicester City went down to the EFL Championship last season.

The English midfielder has thrived for the Foxes this season, contributing to 18 goals in 31 outings thus far. He has found the back of the net nine times while providing nine assists. Meanwhile, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has captured the attention of several high-profile clubs, including Arsenal, with his progress.

A Big Move Beckons?

The summer transfer window saw many Premier League bigwigs showing interest in Dewsbury-Hall. But he remained with Leicester City, which has been a sensible decision, considering his exploits this season. Meanwhile, Arsenal can do with a player of his qualities.

The North London club will likely part ways with Thomas Partey in the summer transfer window. So, they will need a long-term replacement for the Ghanaian midfielder. While Dewsbury-Hall has thrived in an advanced role, his best output comes as a box-to-box midfielder. So, he can be the ideal foil to Declan Rice in the middle of the park in Mikel Arteta’s preferred system at Arsenal.

The report has claimed that the Gunners have scouted Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall regularly this season. Meanwhile, Leicester City will demand £40 million to part ways with the Englishman. It will be interesting to see if a summer move sees the light of day.
