The Danish forward, 32, could move away for £5 million, and his 11-goal contributions make him a cheap and practical option for the Gunners to think about.

Arsenal have been searching for a new striker, but considering the club’s recently adopted policy, they are unlikely to sign a player with advancing age. Yet, they remain linked with several options in the market as the January window draws to a close.
With a need for a new striker still looming large on Arteta’s head, there are chances that Arsenal may lean towards a stop-gap option to fill the void. There have been links to Callum Wilson, whom Newcastle United might look to sell owing to their concerns with FFP.
