Chelsea are keen on signing the Napoli striker Victor Osimhen at the end of the season.
A report from Give Me Sport claims that they are now favourites to sign the player after Spanish giants Real Madrid backed out of the race.
Real Madrid were keen on the Nigerian international as well but it seems that they will pursue Kylian Mbappe wholeheartedly.
Osimhen has established himself as a world-class striker and he helped the Italian club win the league title last season. He could prove to be a transformative addition to the Chelsea attack.
Chelsea have struggled to score goals consistently and they have not had a reliable goal scorer in their ranks since the departure of Diego Costa a few years ago.
Osimhen could fill that void and lead the line for them with expertise.
