West Ham United have enquired about FC Nordsjaelland attacker Ibrahim Osman, with the 19-year-old set to cost between €15-20 million.

Ben Jacobs reveals that West Ham United have enquired about Ibrahim Osman with the view of signing the 19-year-old this month. FC Nordsjaelland could reportedly demand at least €15 million but could increase their asking rate to €20 million, considering there are more than one club in the chase.

West Ham leading the race for Ibrahim Osman?

David Moyes remains adamant about signing an attacker before the closure of this month’s transfer window. The Hammers are keen on bolstering their frontline, with the manager considering getting a striker or a left-sided winger.

For the latter, they have had quite a few targets, including Leeds United’s Wilfried Gnonto, with the Italian’s arrival also a possibility if the Championship side agrees to let him go. However, Moyes would like to keep his options open and also have Ibrahim Osman on his shortlist.

The FC Nordsjaelland forward has a chance to leave the club with links to West Ham emerging a few days prior. The Hammers have taken the following steps and enquired about the 19-year-old. As per Ben Jacobs, the Danish side wants at least €15 million for the winger but might demand up to €20 million.

Now, there’s a decision on West Ham’s hands regarding the €15-20 million-rated attacker, considering other Premier League clubs are also in the chase. Crystal Palace and Brighton are keen on the 19-year-old, but as per Jacobs, the Hammers are the most active in the hunt.

West Ham keen on a new attacker.

With the Osman links, Moyes’ need for a left winger has become more apparent. Then again, there’s a need for a striker, something West Ham have been actively seeking in this window but without much success. They have many names on their list but are nowhere close to signing anyone.

For instance, Aston Villa have already rejected an approach for John Duran, while Bayer Leverkusen are not interested in selling Victor Boniface.

Similarly, they might fail in pursuing Armando Broja, as Chelsea’s huge asking price could prove problematic for the Hammers. With the window fast shrinking, Moyes might have to make a tough call on the striker situation, while he will hope to land someone like Osman before the end of the month.
