Manchester United could offer Aaron Wan-Bissaka in deal to sign Michael Olise, who wants Liverpool move

Manchester United may offer Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Crystal Palace in a deal for their winger and Liverpool target Michael Olise.

As per the Daily Star, Manchester United might plot a part-exchange deal with Crystal Palace for French winger Michael Olise. The Red Devils are open to offering Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the deal for the attacker, although there are plenty of other clubs keen on him, including Liverpool.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka for Michael Olise?

Crystal Palace have held a long-term interest in bringing Aaron Wan-Bissaka back to the club, but so far, their efforts have proved futile. The 26-year-old left the Eagles to join Manchester United in a £50 million deal four-and-a-half years ago.

Wan-Bissaka has not lived up to expectations, with reports suggesting Manchester United might not cash in. They were aware of Palace’s interest in the right back as they could have signed him on the cheap this month or on a free transfer next July.

Hence, Manchester United decided to trigger a contract extension in the 26-year-old’s deal, which added another season. Now, they are keen to offer Wan-Bissaka in a deal for winger Michael Olise. The Red Devils are keen on the attacker and might feel the need to add him to their squad.

Whether Palace will accept the proposal with Wan-Bissaka remains the question, but highly doubtful at this stage. The Eagles are unlikely to entertain any offers this month, although the summer will carry a different story as the Frenchman might move clubs.

Liverpool are also interested in Olise?

With rumours of Liverpool losing Mohamed Salah continuing to gather pace, they are looking at several potential replacement options. The Reds are keen on Olise and have him on their shortlist, with Jurgen Klopp reportedly keen on the winger.

There were reports that Olise still has a clause in excess of £40 million, which could well be double the previous stipulation of around £35 million. Another story insisted Olise was keen on joining Arsenal, as a transfer battle could ensue in the summer.

As for Manchester United, they might stand a chance on Olise, but they will have to beat their prominent rivals in the chase. Liverpool pose a massive threat to the Red Devils, but Arsenal could spring up a surprise if they start negotiating with Palace for the Frenchman.
