Al Hilal initiate contact to sign Mohamed Salah

Al-Hilal are the other Saudi Arabian club to chase Mohamed Salah as they have already initiated contact with the Egyptian’s entourage.

Rudy Galetti insists Saudi Arabian clubs are not backing away from their pursuit of Mohamed Salah, with Al-Hilal also keen on the Egyptian. The Saudi outfit have reportedly initiated contact with the 31-year-old Liverpool star’s entourage, with a January approach likely to arrive.

Al-Hilal interested in Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah might have left to join his national side for the AFCON, which may soothe Liverpool fans amid persistent rumours of a move to Saudi Arabia. While the Saudi Pro League clubs can still do business despite the 31-year-old being away, the chances of the Merseysiders letting him leave are slim.

Last summer, Al-Ittihad made a significant offer and could arrive again in the future. Salah knows about the Saudi outfit’s plan for him and may open his doors towards a move. However, recent reports state the Egyptian could sign a new deal at Liverpool, which does open a lot of possibilities for all parties concerned.

To add another twist to the layer, Al-Hilal have joined the race, as they have already initiated contact with Salah’s entourage. The Saudi side is keen on making their project known to the 31-year-old Liverpool star. Al-Hilal already has a few important players, including Neymar, as they are now dreaming of partnering the Brazilian with Salah.

Al-Hilal might get the chance to showcase their project and offer to Salah, but they must still fight fellow Saudi club Al-Ittihad in the race for the 31-year-old Liverpool star.

Al-Ittihad readying a January bid for Salah?

Al-Ittihad saw a big bid rejected by Liverpool during the summer and seemed poised to try again before the summer deadline. Despite the fact that the Reds are unlikely to entertain any offers from the Saudi outfit or anyone else for Salah in January, Al-Ittihad might still give it a go.

Rudy Galetti insists that despite Al-Hilal’s entry into the chase, Al-Ittihad could still feel they are the front runners for the 31-year-old Liverpool star. The latter could reportedly make an ‘important’ attempt in the coming weeks.

They might know of Liverpool’s stance but will remain keen on wrapping up a future deal for Salah, ideally in the summer. Hence, Al-Ittihad might want to take the first step towards making themselves favourites for the Egyptians.
