Liverpool and Manchester United linked with Federico Redondo

Liverpool and Manchester United are eyeing a move for £8 million midfielder Federico Redondo, who could leave Argentinos Juniors.

According to Team Talk, young Argentine midfielder Federico Redondo continues to attract significant interest from clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United. The English duo aren’t alone in the chase, as the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City are also keen on the Argentinos Juniors star, who could leave the club for £8 million.

Is Federico Redondo available for £8 million?

A host of top clubs around Europe were alerted to the possibility of the cheap availability of one of the promising talents coming out of Argentina. Federico Redondo could reportedly leave Argentinos Junior for as little as £8 million in January, with the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona interested, but there are other clubs in the mix too.

Real Madrid were reportedly willing to pay a higher fee, but now the Spanish giants will definitely show an interest in bringing the 20-year-old holding midfielder. Redondo has made a name with some mature performances in Argentina and features prominently on the shortlists of clubs eager to snap up young talents from South America.

Atletico Madrid are also one of the sides keen, but the primary interest comes from the Premier League. Liverpool and Manchester United are two of the interested parties, with either side now very much alerted to the possibility of acquiring the £8 million midfielder.

Redondo could make his big switch to Europe in January, as his club might consider a sale for the price mentioned. The 20-year-old represents a solid option for the future, especially for the position he plays, which is one of the coveted ones in Europe.

Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in Redondo

Liverpool previously held an interest in Andre, although they might have pulled out of the race for now. Jurgen Klopp may still have the idea of procuring a midfielder from South America who he can develop into a future star.

The presence of World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister could aid their bid to sign Redondo, especially for the price tag he has on his head. Similarly, Manchester United have a solid Argentine contingent to lure the 20-year-old to Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag plans the future of Manchester United’s midfield, as he could add another young star to partner Kobie Mainoo for the long term.
