Tottenham are considering a move for Belgian teenager Stanis Idumbo Muzambo as he enters the final six months of his Ajax contract.
As per DB Net Tottenham are showing an interest in Stanis Idumbo Muzambo ahead of the January transfer window as the 18-year-old Belgian midfield sensation becomes available. His contract with Ajax ends in the summer, which has put interested clubs on alert about his potential availability.

A host of clubs from different leagues are keeping close tabs on 18-year-old Belgian midfield sensation Stanis Idumbo Muzambo ahead of January. The teenager is still not a part of Ajax’s first team, although the Eredivisie side could put up a fight to keep him beyond the summer.
Idumbo Muzambo’s current deal with Ajax ends in the summer, which has alerted some of the interested clubs about a possible move next month. AS Monaco are one of the clubs showing an interest. As per the report, they remain fairly confident about snapping up the young Belgian talent, considering their big reputation for nurturing young players.
Competing with them are Tottenham, as Ange Postecoglou eyes a ‘project signing’ and remains keen on bringing the 18-year-old Belgian midfield sensation. While the attacking midfielder has not yet featured for Ajax’s first team, it could give Spurs the onus in the chase to snap him up on the cheap.
Tottenham Set For a Busy January Transfer Window
With six months left on his deal, there is a big opportunity for Spurs to bring in the attacking midfielder. Postecoglou has plans to strengthen his first team in January, with Jean-Clair Todibo linked with a move, as the Australian seeks a top defender to shore up his options.
Similarly, there are reports insisting Tottenham are keen to bolster their attacking option and could bring in a player to compete with James Maddison in the attacking midfield role. Some stories suggest they could trigger Takefusa Kubo’s release clause, which would potentially signal their intentions to improve every aspect of that team.
As for Stanis Idumbo Muzambo, the 18-year-old Belgian midfield sensation is not the only youngster in Tottenham’s sights. They are working hard towards other targets, with Juventus’s Samuel Iling-Junior a target for Spurs.
