Tottenham would like to recover their investment in Richarlison and receive at least €70 million to sell the attacker amid Saudi interest.

According to Tutto Mercato Web, Tottenham would demand €70 million to sell Richarlison amid incoming interest from Saudi Arabia. The Brazilian has not shined since making a big move from Everton, but Spurs might also consider keeping him until the summer.

Tottenham did miss a host of players during the recent run-in since the Chelsea game. Ange Postecoglou has yet to turn their form around, although their depleted squad fought to earn a deserved draw away at Manchester City.

That game saw Richarlison return with a cameo late in the game after not playing a game for over a month. There are questions about how Tottenham is working towards reviving his career at the club following a dismal period since moving from Everton.

Spurs paid around €70 million to sign the Brazilian international, who helped Everton avoid relegation with his heroics. The 26-year-old has come nowhere close to replicating his form at Tottenham, which made the club consider his future.

Last season, he played mainly as a backup to Harry Kane, but with Ange Postecoglou, he was deployed in a wide role. Neither have produced the desired results, which had led to transfer speculation, although Spurs are not considering an exit in January.

Postecoglou is looking for a new attacker, but that will come as an addition to his current stars, including Richarlison. There’s Saudi Arabian interest in the Brazilian, who might come in with a sizeable offer, which could tempt Tottenham towards a sale.

Spurs are not overly patient with the 26-year-old, as they might take a firm decision next summer. The report states they might consider a deal if suitors come in with a €70 million bid. If that happens, Spurs would recover the price they paid Everton for the Brazilian.

Richarlison has no interest in leaving Spurs ahead of the January window. He might not even consider a move to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career, as the Brazilian might feel the need to prove a point in the Premier League.

At that price, many other clubs could come into the picture, including Real Madrid, who have been interested in the forward. For now, it’s challenging to see Richarlison leaving Tottenham in January, which could see him reject Saudi approaches for now.
