England youth international Noni Madueke is considering parting ways with Chelsea in the upcoming winter transfer window.
According to a report by TEAMtalk, Noni Madueke is not happy with his situation at Chelsea and could push for a move away from the club in the winter transfer window. The 21-year-old winger has not had the desired minutes so far and is considering parting ways in search of regular first-team football.
Madueke was a part of the Tottenham Hotspur youth ranks back in the day before joining PSV Eindhoven. He came up the ranks at the Dutch club and made quite a name for himself. His impressive performances resulted in a lot of interest and Chelsea managed to sign him at the start of the year for a fee of £29 million.
The England youth international penned down a seven-year-long deal with the Blues. His contract runs until the summer of 2030 and the club has an option to extend it by another 12 months.
Since their takeover, the West London club have focused on young players with huge potential, and Noni Madueke was one of the youngsters they managed to land at the club. However, it seems he has not managed to impress Mauricio Pochettino and has struggled to get game time.
The 21-year-old is way down the pecking order and has only started one game this season. In his total of eight appearances, he has managed one goal and has been on the pitch for just 204 minutes. The lack of game time has not gone down well with the player, and he is considering his future.
Noni Madueke wants regular first-team football, and he is ready to part ways with the Blues in January as he seeks more game time. If Chelsea cannot promise him more minutes, they will have to look for a solution. The West London club could look to loan him out as they might not want to lose out on a future star.
According to the report, a permanent transfer could also be on the cards if an interested club is ready to offer a fee of around £35 million for Noni Madueke but that still looks unlikely. The 21-year-old will most likely leave the Blues in the winter on a loan to get some more minutes under his belt.
